Some time ago, I really needed to buy a house for my corporation but I did not earn enough money and couldn't order something. Thank goodness my fellow suggested to get the loans from creditors. Hence, I did so and was satisfied with my commercial loan.

The violence in the movie is fairly graphic in that there is decapitation and abundant stabbings. However, I thought that the lack of blood was rather strange and detracted from the film’s realism.

I had a few problems with this movie. The movie’s infrequent violent scenes were not sufficient to hold my attention. I think many of the scenes leading up to the action scenes were supposed to be suspenseful, but they dragged on too long and quickly became boring. In addition, Tarantino’s technique of superimposing the names of certain characters over the action on the screen prevented me from getting more absorbed into the movie.

I wasn’t rooting for the bad guy for very long in this movie. The criminal that Shelton tortured and killed committed awful crimes that deserved to be punished. However, Shelton seemed to derive an enormous amount of pleasure from mutilating his victim. Shelton’s behavior sickened me, making me realize that the crimes committed against his wife and daughter had caused Shelton to become an evil psychopath.

I thought the plot of the movie was good until the end. Neville’s sacrifice of himself at the end made no sense, however. Why did he hold the grenade and run at the zombies? Why didn’t he just throw the grenade and take shelter behind the protective glass that was keeping the zombies at bay? It seems to me that the script writers wanted a dramatic ending and simply didn’t have any better ideas.
